Totalseal Epoxy
is a hot applied, two part treatment for application to heavily trafficked
areas requiring durable decorative finishes.
The material
has been assessed under the Highways Agency Product Approval Scheme and granted
Road and Bridges Agrément Certificate No. 01/H039. It also meets the
requirements of Clause 924 of the Department of Transport Specification for
Highway use.
Application to new or existing surfaces
The product is ideal
for new or existing macadam and concrete surfaces, but it is important for
new surfaces to be left for a minimum of four weeks to cure before any resins
can be applied. This allows any volatile oils in the macadam to oxidise and
concrete surfaces to dry out. Concrete surfaces need to be lightly primed prior
to application.
Many existing
surfaces are suitable for direct application once they have been cleaned
and dried. Site inspections can be arranged to assess their suitability.
Quality Assurance
All materials are manufactured
and supplied to meet the standards of a quality assurance system to BS/EN/ISO
9002.
To create the
required finish a wide range of natural aggregates are available and samples
can be provided. To maintain the required standards shown above, and not
adversely effect the integrity of the system, all materials have been developed
for direct application to the surfaces.
